In one of the bizarre cases in Canada, Thieves steal Ice Berg water worth at least $9000 from a Vodka company.
The Iceberg water is valued for its purity, and used in premium spirits, cosmetic products – and even sold as a luxury bottled water, with cases of the bottles often selling for hundreds of dollars. Because their density is similar to concrete, the large chunks of ice are impermeable to the salt water, resulting in clean water when melted.
Police are completely clueless regarding the idea of catching the thieves.
“Who would want it and what would they do with it? I mean, we’re scratching our head, I have to say,” says Police.
This is the first of a kind incident in Canada.
