With Petta and Viswasam still doing great in Theatres, there are five more movies lined up for the release this weekend.
1. Vandha Rajavathan Varuven
Directed by Sundar C, Vandha Rajavathan Varuven stars Simbu and Megha Akash as the lead and is a remake of Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi. This movie has music by Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi
2. Sarvam Thaala Mayam
This is probably the most awaited movie of this year. The director Rajiv Menon is back after 17 years and the ARR-Rajiv Menon combo as well. The songs are already a huge hit and the musical journey in the movie going to be a treat for the fans.
Sarvam Thaala Mayam which stars GV Prakash as the lead already has received highly positive reviews among the media.
3. Peranbu
Director Ram’s movie will talk about the intense relationship between the Father and daughter. The movie stars Mammootty, Anjali, Sadhana and Anjali Ameer in the lead roles.
Peranbu had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam on 27 January 2018 and had the Asian premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival, China on 17 June.
The film was also selected to be screened under the Indian Panorama category of 49th International Film Festival of India.
4. Sagaa
Directed by Murugesh, this movie revolves around love, friendship and revenge. The Vada Chennai fame Saran plays the lead and the movie has music by Shabir.
5. Pei Ellaam Paavam
Pei Ellaam Paavam is yet another horror comedy made in Tamil Cinema. Arasu plays the lead with Kerala girl Dona Shankar debuting as the female lead. National award winner Appu Kutty has been roped in for comedy.
