Rohit Sharma joined the Mumbai squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the Quarter Final.
During the clash against Bihar in the Quarters, the Rohit Sharma led Mumbai won convincingly by ten wickets as Bihar made only 69 with the captain staying not-out on 33.
During the match, A fan dashed from the crowd over the deep-midwicket boundary fence and ran on to the pitch. He touched Rohit’s feet first then hugged and kissed him.

He left the field of play dancing and jumping in the air amid loud cheers and whistles from the crowd.
According to reports in the media, there were no media in the stadium, and the fan stayed till the end of the match.
A Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) official told ESPN Cricinfo that five police personnel were supposed to be present, but they were sitting behind the fans and hence couldn’t stop the fan.
